Earlier this year, we headed to Barcelona for our 2026 company-wide offsite.

It was a good week. A chance to step away from the day-to-day, reconnect with colleagues from across the business, and align on the ambitions and priorities we're collectively carrying into the year ahead.

One of the highlights for me personally was the opportunity to present alongside Elena to the whole company.

We gave a talk on the role of product design at PolyAI where we sit within the process, how we contribute, and why design has such an important part to play as the business continues to grow and evolve.

Beyond the presentations, the week valuable for team bonding; not just within the design team, but across the wider teams where design plays a significant role.

Having that uninterrupted time to build relationships, share context, and develop a mutual understanding of how we all work together is something that is often challenging to replicate in a remote setting.

I'm already excited for next year.

It's genuinely incredible to reflect on how far we've come, from Las Vegas in 2025 to Barcelona in 2026, and to see the growth, the ambition, and the people that make this company such a special place to be part of.
